The Hong Kong tourbillon brand, Memorigin, has always been promoting sports culture. This year, we are collaborating with Salom Yiu Kam Shing, a Hong Kong Rugby Sevens player who has participated in over seventy international tournaments, to launch the rugby-themed "Last Tango" Tourbillon watch. This collaboration aims to promote rugby sports and preserve every precious moment of Hong Kong's rugby events.
The skeleton dial of the Last Tango Tourbillon watch features an upright rugby ball as its centerpiece, symbolizing the Hong Kong stadium. Positioned at 12 o'clock are the iconic H-shaped goal posts, while the hour hand also adopts the H-shaped design. Salom Yiu Kam Shing revealed the design concept: "This year marks the final year of the Rugby Sevens tournament at the Hong Kong Stadium before its relocation to Kai Tak Sports Park next year, making this year's event the 'Last Tango' at the stadium, which holds significant meaning."
In addition, symbols representing four events – "Cup," "Plate," "Bowl," and "Shield" – have been added to the hour markers. This watch captures and encapsulates every match, moment, and cheer that has unfolded at the Hong Kong stadium over the past thirty years. All of these elements are well preserved in this watch, making it a milestone.
The watch is equipped with a tourbillon movement composed of 155 components and 18 jewels, featuring a power reserve of 40 hours and a vibration frequency of 28,800 times per hour. With its stable and precise movement, akin to an athlete undergoing daily training, it consistently maintains optimal performance, actively progressing forward at all times!
