Top influencer Rick Kwan often introduces various watches to the public. As a timepiece aficionado, he knows perfectly well what makes a watch premium. The Hong Kong tourbillon watch brand Memorigin invited Rick to design a wristwatch with his rich knowledge in the field. While most people regard tourbillon watches as classic accessories with the attributes of gentlemen, Rick made it one of the coolest timepieces with a manly motorcycle design concept. He named it the Biker tourbillon watch, which will be available exclusively at Autoshop.
Stressing functionality, Rick added tritium lighting on the time indices and hands, merging the cutting-edge technology with traditional watch craftsmanship. Radioluminescent light sources emit light in the dark without the need for recharging for years. They are ideal for low-light timekeeping and provide convenience for motorcyclists riding at night.
In terms of design, it boasts a tough steel watch case in the shape of a barrel that represents motorcycle riders' ability to adapt and take on responsibilities. At 12 o’clock there is a logo representing Rick. On the index, he placed two luminous dots that resemble a motorbike headlight. The skeleton dial uses shapes that resemble wheel discs and chassis. The tourbillon is adorned with the shape of a disc brake at 6 o'clock. Sporty finishes are all over the dial.
The watch is equipped with a tourbillon movement which has 40 hours of power reserve and a vibration frequency of 28,800 oscillations per hour. A fine view of the manual winding movement can be obtained at the back of the watch under the blue sapphire glass.
