The Transformers-themed restaurant, Transformers: The Ark, has always been beloved by Transformers fans. In addition to its design inspired by The Ark, the massive spaceship used by the Autobots, and featuring a 2.8-meter-tall Optimus Prime statue, the restaurant also features a transformer boutique selling a variety of Transformers merchandise. Two limited edition Transformers 5 Tourbillon watches, launched by Memorigin in collaboration with Hasbro, are now officially available at Transformers: The Ark locations in Causeway Bay and Tseung Kwan O!
The Transformers 5 Series Tourbillon watches are available in two versions: one featuring Optimus Prime and the other featuring Bumblebee, each limited to 288 pieces. The Optimus Prime edition features sapphire surrounding an embossed Optimus Prime design serving as the time markers, with a silver stainless steel case complemented by a deep blue alligator strap, perfectly capturing Optimus Prime's unique colors and attracting the attention of all fans. The exquisite and powerful design exudes a sense of strength, with smooth curves showcasing Optimus Prime's heroic image. The day-night indicator at the 3 o'clock position and the power reserve indicator at the 9 o'clock position on the watch are designed to ensure that every wearer is clear about the operational energy of the tourbillon device, enabling them to manage precious time anytime, anywhere.
The Bumblebee version features a dazzling golden dial as the main tone, with yellow diamonds serving as Bumblebee's eyes, creating a striking appearance against the PVD-coated black stainless steel case. The designer ingeniously incorporates the day-night indicator at the 3 o'clock position and the power reserve indicator at the 9 o'clock position into the design, evoking a powerful sense of speed reminiscent of Bumblebee's transformed vehicle form. Every detail showcases the ingenuity of the designers and craftsmen.
In terms of movement configuration, both watches feature a tourbillon movement crafted from 193 pieces of subassembly modules and 27 jewels, powered by twin mainspring barrels, providing up to 80 hours of power reserve to avoid the inconvenience of frequent readjustments.
