The Founder of the Hong Kong tourbillon brand Memorigin, William Shum, has been working closely with the local non-profit organization, East Kowloon District Residents' Committee. They co-established the Wong Tai Sin District Child and Adolescent Development Fund (WTSCAD Fund), which is dedicated to supporting children from grass-roots families in education, developing skills, cultivating hobbies, and experiential learning etc. with the aim of boosting their confidence, broadening their horizons, and solving the intergenerational poverty issue in society. As part of the charity campaign, Memorigin has also customized The Spirit of Lion Rock tourbillon to benefit the WTSCAD Fund, and all profits will be contributed.

The WTSCAD Fund will hold a launch ceremony on 4th March, 2023 at Plaza Hollywood in Diamond Hill. Hong Kong table tennis player Marco Fu Ka Chun, artist Samantha Ko Hoi Ling, and fencer Cheung Siu-lun wore The Spirit of Lion Rock tourbillon watch to attend the event. Additionally, Memorigin advertised The Spirit of Lion Rock tourbillon on the billboard outside the busiest Hong Kong Cross-Harbor Tunnel.

The Spirit of Lion Rock tourbillon comes in two versions: Roman numerals and metal reliefs. Both designs draw inspiration from the Hong Kong landmark Lion Rock, capturing the beauty seen from the Wong Tai Sin area on the dial. The former version depicts how the sunrise illuminates Lion Rock. The lower half of the skeleton dial shapes the silhouette of the Lion Rock, in which the black movement components are shown. The upper part has a rose-gold guilloché design with Roman numeral hour markers, resembling the sunbeams at the break of dawn and symbolizing the hope that the WTSCAD Fund brings to society.

Memorigin utilizes the expertise of traditional artisans to highlight the Lion Rock's unique resemblance to a crouching lion in the metal relief version. The half-skeleton dial features an exquisite embossment of the Lion Rock, creating a vivid landscape artwork. To enhance the elegance of the watch, the dial is surrounded by an auspicious Chinese fret pattern, ruby indices, and eye-catching red hands. The watch is available in silver stainless-steel, rose-gold-plated, and diamond-embedded cases, catering to the different preferences of wearers.

The series of watches is equipped with a manual-winding tourbillon movement that consists of 155 pieces of subassembly module and 18 jewels. It provides a power reserve of 40 hours and has a vibration frequency of 28,800 oscillations per hour. The tourbillon, ever-rotating at the six o'clock position, symbolizes the Lion Rock spirit of perseverance and solidarity inherited by Hongkongers from generation to generation.
