Xiangyun (祥雲) is a colorful cloud that Chinese gods use as a vehicle. In Chinese culture, it has a meaning of hope and blessing, and is also a sign of auspiciousness. Ancient Chinese often engraved the pattern of auspicious clouds on costumes, jade carvings, and sculptures to imply good fortune. Memorigin, the Hong Kong's Tourbillon watch brand, integrated the traditional Chinese ancient wood carving techniques with the Western top tourbillon watchmaking skills, and created a wishful watch series inspired by Xiangyun (祥雲). Blessings are injected into the watches and the traditional Chinese craftmanship is spread internationally.
The Auspicious Plus Series takes Xiangyun (祥雲) as the main concept of design of the watch. It displays the gentle and beautiful shape of Xiangyun (祥雲) through the skeleton dial which is engraved by the craftsmen manually. The operation of the complicated mechanical parts under the skeleton dial can be seen. It shows the metaphorical meaning of the traditional Chinese quote "symbiosis and harmony".
In addition to the functions of GMT dual time-zone display, the star display, and the 24-hour display, the tourbillon at 6 o'clock position operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, giving the watch high stability and functionality.
