The concept of sailboats implies perserverance. Two barrel drums align with two rudder wheels. When the mainspring rotates, it simulates turning the wheel to different directions. The second hand is in compass shape. Having the hour and minute hands in anchor shape spinning above the curve lines at the bottom perfectly illustrates that the waves are pushing the sailboat forward on the sea.
