Daniel Chan, Hong Kong’s only wheelchair badminton athlete, officially retired in 2024. At the age of 23, he was involved in a traffic accident that resulted in the loss of his left leg. The incident once left him disheartened and lost, but it was badminton that led him out of the shadows and ignited his journey as a full-time athlete. Representing the Hong Kong team for 16 years, he competed in nearly 500 international matches and earned more than 80 medals on the global stage. Memorigin invited Daniel Chan to launch the Ace Tourbillon Watch—drawing inspiration from his remarkable athletic career, with the hope of encouraging more people with disabilities to confront challenges with strength and determination through his story.
