In celebration of its Silver Jubilee in 2025, Lok Kwan Social Service has collaborated with Memorigin, the renowned Hong Kong tourbillon watch brand, to unveil the Lok Kwan Social Service 25th Anniversary Tourbillon Watch. This exquisite timepiece was previously showcased on the grand outdoor LED billboard at Jade Pearl Plaza, Paterson Street, Causeway Bay—radiating brilliance across the city and adding a remarkable touch of splendour to the Silver Jubilee celebration.
Since its establishment in 2000, Lok Kwan Social Service has remained steadfast in its commitment to the principles of “Empowering others through self-subsistence” and “Officium et Civitas.” Over the years, LKSS has forged strong collaborations across various sectors, tirelessly supporting the underprivileged, helping them transcend limitations and realize their full potential. This time, LKSS proudly presents the Lok Kwan Social Service 25th Anniversary Tourbillon Charity Watch — an exceptional timepiece that serves as the cornerstone of a meaningful fundraising initiative. Proceeds from the sale will contribute to Lok Kwan’s ongoing dedication to serving those in need.
This collaboration unveils two exclusive timepieces, each inspired by the calligraphy of Dr. Ng Chau Pei, SBS, JP, Chairman of Lok Kwan Social Service. His expressive cursive and seal script of “長樂未央” (Cháng Lè Wèi Yāng) are placed at the center, elegantly reflecting a profound cultural heritage and traditional aesthetics. “長樂未央” is an ancient expression of good fortune, symbolizing “enduring joy, unending sentiment, eternal cycles, boundless harmony,” embodying a heartfelt wish and blessing for the future.
Both timepieces feature a skeletonized dial, offering an enchanting view of the intricate movement—showcasing the aesthetic beauty and technical precision of the watch. The cursive-script model boasts a bold PVD-coated black stainless steel case with a diameter of approximately 43mm, while the seal-script model is housed in a refined silver stainless steel case measuring approximately 40mm. A selection of leather straps in various hues accompanies both models, with the cursive variant also offering a sophisticated stainless steel bracelet, catering to diverse tastes.
The sapphire crystal case back is elegantly adorned with a '25th Anniversary' inscription. Additionally, the brand offers a bespoke engraving service for the movement, allowing owners to personalize their timepiece with a name or meaningful phrase—infusing each watch with exceptional collectible value.
At the heart of these timepieces lies a tourbillon movement composed of 155 subassembly modules and 18 jewels, offering a 40-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. This movement delivers stable and precise timekeeping, symbolizing the unwavering dedication of Lok Kwan Social Service in its continued support of the community’s underprivileged groups through its many services over the years.
